Some vehicles are not 100% OBD2 compliant, but Torque can still talk to them if the adapter is configured in a certain way.

The custom init field allows you to manually configure the ELM327 adapter for special vehicles. If you are unable to connect using the 'Automatic' method, you may need to use an init from the table below:

The commands are standard ELM327 adapter configuration commands, and can be found on the ELM electronics website
